If you own a car you have to get a regular MOT. Without it you have no idea whether your car is still safe to drive on the road.

Cars and blogs are worlds apart, but wouldn’t it be great if we had to put our blogs through their paces in much the same way every now and then?

The truth is this is a very good idea – at least it is if you want your blog to develop a readership and have a purpose that brings results. You may have had a purpose for your blog way back in the days when you first set it up, but it’s incredibly easy to drift away from that purpose. If you have lots of other things on your mind regarding your business, you could end up struggling to stay focused.

If you haven’t given your blog the ‘once over’ for a while, there is no better time to do it than now. If you know it needs work and you need to start adding some regular blog posts on there, you can either write them on your own or hire a writer to do so for you. Either way, that regular blog MOT can highlight problems you didn’t even know were there.

Why not take a fresh look now while it is in your mind?
